Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing you to invite you to the upcoming conference “The Kurdish question in Syria: between Assad and the PKK” at the European Parliament (ASP A1E-1) in Brussels on 27 June 2018 from 16:00-18:30.
The aim of the conference is to explain how the Kurdish people in the Rojava region, which are threatened by the PKK on one side and by the regime of Bashar al-Assad on the other side, are drawn into the dynamics of the Syrian conflicts. Other vectors of analysis are the human rights issues in the area, the role of the European Union in the wider region, and the threat posed to Syrian Kurds by Da’esh.
The event will is hosted by Bodil Valero MEP (Greens/EFA) and Patricia Lalonde MEP (ALDE).

The distinguished speakers include:
